Achenar was formed by Åsmund Folkestad in 2010. It was originally a solo project with the ambition to create atmospheric metal. It turned into a band when Glenn Hansen(vocal/bass) and Vegard Liverød (drums) joined in. Achenar build atmospheres through epic melodic soundscapes.
